A 63 year old RAF Veteran on a 33 year old bike. Land's End to John O'Groats, in support of the The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

Tony Hall is raising money for The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

Land’s End to John o’Groats · 11 April 2026

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. In 2024 we assisted more than 64,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2026 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

I am embarking on a challenging, personal journey, cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, solo and unsupported on my 33 year old, steel Dawes Galaxy bicycle. This adventure is not just a personal challenge; it is a heartfelt mission to raise funds for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. This also marks my retirement from the Royal Air Force after a total of 44 years service (32 years of Regular service and another 12 years of service with the RAF Reserves).

This endeavour is self-funded, meaning that every penny donated will go directly to supporting the vital work of the RAF Benevolent Fund. Your contributions will help provide essential support to those who have served our country and their families during times of need. Together, we can make a significant impact in their lives.
