Tom's fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy UK

Ultra Marathon from Leeds to Hull · 21 September 2024
Nath, Josh & I will be running over 50 miles (2 marathons) from Leeds to Hull on 21st September, to raise much needed funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
I’ve done one half marathon before, which was a struggle, so to be doing 4 of those in a day requires some motivation (£££).
Nathan’s brother, Jack, lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and we have seen the cruel impact this disease has on the individual, and the families of those affected.
My last conversation with my old school mate Ryan Beckett, before he sadly passed away, was about what a great cause this is. He will be in my thoughts as I’m stumbling by way across Yorkshire.
By fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK, we are helping to fund world-class research into effective treatments, and life changing support for the 110,000 people in the UK living with a muscle-wasting condition.
All donations and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
