Thanet Wanderers Ladies will be taking on a Tough Mudder challenge on the 6th of April to raise money for The Zone Youth Club & The Pavilion Youth Café!

The Zone/Pavilion provides a safe, happy and warm environment for all young people to play, learn and develop freely. Run by qualified youth workers, the club hosts arts and crafts and sports activities, and provides free cooked meals.

Due to government funding cuts, the community club has been struggling to facilitate sessions and any support is hugely appreciated. Any donation, big or small, will help support the amazing work of the youth club and café.

The challenge!

Tough Mudder is a hardcore obstacle course famous for its obstacles such as the Ice Pit, the Kiss of Mud and the Electric Eel!

The ladies will be training for the challenge in the upcoming weeks, with a mix of cardio and strength-based training.

Alongside this, the ladies are running introductory rugby sessions for the young people at the Zone/Pavilion. We have loved their enthusiasm so far and aim to continue to encourage their participation in our beloved sport!
