Update : I'm so happy that Freema was able to see this page and read all the comments. And it's a testament to her beautiful soul that she donated herself.
Freema, this is what you've inspired us to do. This is Helen's legacy, the love and the community that has rippled out from your wonderful portrayal. Can't wait to support your next projects.(please stick around IG a little, we miss you when you're gone 😊🙃♥️)

Epilepsy Action is a cause which Freema Agyeman has advocated for and which is near and dear to her heart (see some of her posts on the topic, below).
Many of us have come to know and love Freema through the show "New Amsterdam", or have been following her since her previous projects.
As New Amsterdam finally ends for good, there are a lot of conflicting feelings, about the fact that we weren't given the chance to celebrate properly the character that Freema has played with so much heart and love for 4 seasons, and that Helen Sharpe didn't receive the ending she deserved.
So by putting some good out into the world, this is our way of saying farewell to Helen, a wonderful, kind, funny, brilliant character. "The most selfless, most accomplished, not to mention coolest doctor in this hospital".
And this is also our thank you to Freema. For sharing her talent, her kindness and her wisdom with us.
Freema, we can't wait to see you back on our screens.
With love, always.
