Story
We’re taking on a huge new challenge for charity 💦
Frankie, Ellen and Kathryn will be completing a 24-hour outdoor relay swim to raise money for Level Water. Between us, that means 8 hours of swimming each, through the day and night… with very little sleep!
This challenge came about because it’s Frankie’s 40th birthday, and we decided there was no better way to celebrate than by proving that if you don’t use it, you lose it — preferably while laughing (and slightly shivering) in open water. 😄
None of us are seasoned swimmers and, until recently, our experience didn’t go much further than the odd quick dip. Now we’re committing to hours in outdoor water, pushing ourselves physically and mentally for an incredible cause.
Level Water helps provide swimming lessons for children with disabilities, giving them confidence, independence and life-changing skills in the water. Knowing the impact this charity has is what will keep us going through the cold, the tiredness, and the long hours.
Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference and mean the world to us. Thank you so much for your support — we’ll be thinking of it with every stroke 💙
