Belfast Marathon Relay 2024 · 5 May 2024 ·

Brain Injury Matters (NI) was established in 2013 as an independent regional third sector organisation supporting, empowering and advocating for all those affected by acquired brain injury (ABI). We develop and deliver a range of innovative programmes led by a diverse team of clinicians.

Story

On Sunday, 5th May 2024, a hardy group of barristers will be lacing up their running shoes to participate in the annual Belfast City Marathon in support of the Bar’s charity partner Brain Injury Matters (NI). This is a local charity which supports, promotes and advocates on behalf of children, young people and adults affected by brain injury. We have 5 relay teams entered and one member, Suzanne Simpson KC, who plans to take on the entire 26.2-mile route. The Tim Ferriss QC Memorial Cup will be awarded to the team/individual who fundraises the most money for this very worthy cause so please indicate who you are supporting when you are making your donation.
