The Bar of Northern Ireland is Fundraising for Dementia NI

The Bar is committed to giving back to the community and we are excited to work in partnership with Dementia NI in the year ahead.
Many of our members have experienced the pain and difficulty of coping with a diagnosis of dementia within their own families so this will be a cause close to their hearts. We have no doubt they will show the unfaltering support they are renowned for in supporting our Charity Committee's programme of events. The next events on our busy programme are:
Belfast City Marathon's Relay Race on 04 May
Bar member Paul Boyle BL is going to do a 275km walk from Porto to Santiago de Compostela along the Camino trail at the end of June.
Dementia NI is a local charity supporting people living with dementia. People with dementia taking action, having their voices heard and improving the lives of everyone who has dementia.
The lives of people are dramatically changed by a dementia diagnosis. Our vision is to ensure everyone living with dementia in NI will receive an accurate and timely diagnosis, have access to appropriate services and will live well with the right support. We will continue to raise awareness, educate, train and challenge the stigma of dementia.
