Story
We’re excited to be taking on our annual Beacon Peloton challenge once again - this year riding all the way to Cromer Lighthouse!
Covering around 150 miles over two days (15th - 16th May), this year’s route is set to be our most enjoyable yet. With minimal climbing, we’ll be cycling through some of the most picturesque East Anglian villages, before spending the evening in the beautiful and historic city of Ely, where we’ll rest and refuel for day two.
Our team is made up of a fantastic core group of around 15 past and current parents, alongside several members of staff. We’re always delighted to welcome new riders, so if you’re interested in joining us for future events, we’d love to hear from you.
This year’s ride holds particular significance. As many of you know, our Headmaster, Nick Baker, faced a difficult time last term when his older son, Patrick, became seriously ill with heart failure. In support of this, we are proud to be riding for Myocarditis UK, a local charity dedicated to raising awareness and supporting those affected by myocarditis - the same condition Patrick experienced.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and is hugely appreciated. Thank you for your support in helping us back such an important cause!
