The Average Dad Band are taking on a challenge by organising The Big Charity Gig on 20 June 2026 to raise money for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. Our aim is to help improving the lives of everyone impacted by cancer in our community. Their work not only supports patients but also raises vital awareness about the signs and symptoms of cancer, which helps more people receive early diagnoses when treatment can be most effective.

Over many years, Lingen Davies has led successful appeals that have significantly enhanced care and treatment at the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre, based at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. However, there is still so much more to do. Every donation brings us closer to better outcomes for those facing cancer and supports ongoing efforts to save lives through early detection.
