As many of you know we sadly lost our beautiful Becca on Tuesday 24th June to triple negative breast cancer, at the young age of just 35 whilst she was in LOROS hospice.

Becca bravely battled this cruel disease for 10 years with the up most strength, courage, and positivity right until the very end.

Becca was a patient at Leicestershire’s LOROS Hospice in the last few months of her life, who were absolutely incredible with their level of care and compassion towards her and her family. As a family going through the worst possible time, LOROS made us feel like Becca was in the best hands and nothing was too much trouble. They even put on a birthday party for her 6 year old son Renly’s birthday so Becca could see her son celebrating and having fun along with some close friends and family. This was such a special occasion which we can’t thank them enough for!

This incredible hospice who are there for terminally ill people and their families have very sadly become victim to a huge shortfall in funding this year meaning reduced services for patients and families. We know that Becca along with her family would be devastated if LOROS was no longer available or couldn’t continue to provide the exceptional care they do at the moment for future people in need, so please instead of flowers can you donate to this inspiring hospice. Big or small, any donation would be greatly received.

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
