The Bluebell Circle CIC are taking part in the Rotary Club of Maidstone Riverside Swim Relay 2026 event and are planning to raise as much money as we can for The Bluebell Circle CIC as well as for Demelza & the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance (KSS).

After the success of the last two years events which raised over £40,000, the Rotary Club will be running the event again on the 22nd March 2026 and The Bluebell Circle CIC is happy to support this event. As you may know, Demelza became an important part of our family life in the final few weeks of Sofia’s life and has been a support for our family after her death and in the months after providing sibling support, counselling and a place for Sofia’s memory to live on.

We are looking for teams of 4-6 people to swim as many lengths of The Maidstone Leisure pool in 20 minutes. Team prizes are awarded for the most lengths swum and most money raised. The fundraising amount will be split 50% to The Bluebell Circle CIC and 50% to Demelza & KSS.

Demelza & KSS will be providing a lot of organisational and fund-raising support as well as providing helping hands on the day. So, let’s try and raise as much money for these wonderful local charities as well as The Bluebell Circle CIC. The Bluebell Circle CIC is fundraising for Sofia’s riverside memorial throne and some regeneration of the tyre-swing area in Halling.
