Story
Over the next week I will be embarking on a 300 mile cycle from Liverpool to Brighton in aid of The Choir with No Name, a charity that supports people affected by homelessness. There are a total of six choirs across the UK, including Liverpool, Birmingham, Coventry, London, Cardiff and Brighton. The charity aims to help members build confidence and skills that will help them to tackle life challenges and move away from homeless in the long term.
Each week the choirs meet in a safe, welcoming space to sing and enjoy a hot meal cooked by volunteers. While experiencing the joy of singing together, they also have the opportunity to make life long friends and have fun away from the struggles of everyday life.
I will be cycling alongside two others, including my cousin Kate who is the Chief Executive for the charity. On our route, we will be meeting the Liverpool, Birmingham, Coventry, London and Brighton choirs, which I am really looking forward to. I can't wait to meet you all and listen to you singing together.
I am very nervous as I have never cycled this distance before but I am looking forward to the challenge.
If you would like to donate to this amazing charity and sponsor our cycle any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
