My Dad (Derry) turned 80 in May and to mark this landmark he decided he would like to jump out of a plane. Having persuaded my brother (Douglas), my niece (Jessica) and me to join in, we have three generations of our family taking part in a skydive on 5 July 2024.

We have decided to use the occasion to raise some money for charity, with donations going to Cancer Research (cancer has touched most people in one way or another, our family is no exception) and to Claines Church, where my Dad maintains the clock, but it needs upgrading.

All money raised will go to the charities, none to the cost of the event.
