At FORTIS, we've been supporting Women's Aid as our chosen charity since opening in 2021. The work they do is life changing and, in many cases, life saving.
Did you know the police in England and Wales receive 100 calls every hour relating to domestic abuse? (HMIC, 2015) 1 in 4 women experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. With three women being killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, Women's Aid are working to end domestic abuse against women and children. They provide life-saving services across England, while building a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated.
To date (March 2026) we've raised over £3,150 for Women's Aid and hope to continue supporting their mission to empower more survivors to build safer futures.
As well as hitting a yearly fundraising push on International Women's Day, we also raise money throughout the year with the help of Phil and his FORTIS van!
