Charity Walk 2023 · 12 May 2023

Special Olympics is a global inclusion movement using sport, health and leadership programs to end discrimination of people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics serves more than 6 million athletes in more than 190 countries delivering 32 Olympic-type sports at 100,000 events each year.

Story

We are excited to announce that this year we will once again be running one of our favourite afternoons out, the much-loved Charity Walk.

The walk will be taking place on Friday 12th May, and this year we will be taking on the challenge of walking from Hanger Lane to Camden, raising money for Special Olympics.

The walk will take about 3 hours, taking us along the canal to Paddington, through Regents Park and Primrose, finally reaching Camden where we will finish with a celebratory drink at the Princess of Wales.

We will be setting off from Hanger Lane in groups from 1pm, so please agree that early finish with your line manager.

The sign-up donation is £10 per person, which includes a drink at the Princess of Wales for everybody who finishes the walk.

To sign-up please make your donation and contact Ellie Ward or Chloe Thorne letting us know you’d like to take part.

You can either sign up individually or as a group of up to 10 people. If you sign up individually or in small groups, you will be placed in a team
