Paul and Scott Heywood - Boxing for Suicide Prevention - MensCraft

Paul Heywood is raising money for MensCraft

Charity Boxing · 12 April 2025

We offer information, activities & one-to-one support for men across Norfolk. Our activities give men purpose, the opportunity for connection with others, and for improved wellbeing. We believe happier and healthier men make for better brothers, partners, fathers, sons, colleagues and friends.

Story

On April 12th, Scott and I will be stepping into the boxing ring, for the first time, to raise money for MensCraft, a charity dedicated to supporting men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

This cause is deeply personal to us— we’ve lost both our dad and a brother to suicide, and we know firsthand the devastating impact of untreated trauma.

I also work for MensCraft in suicide prevention and see the broad benefits of the charity in action.

The funds raised will go directly to MensCraft’s therapeutic division, specifically to provide EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) for men who are struggling with trauma.

This therapy can be life-changing, helping men process past pain and build a future worth fighting for.

If you can, please donate. Every pound goes toward giving men the support they need to heal, grow, and keep going.

Thank you for your support! You're making a real difference.
