The Journey
Jack is about to make history. He will be the first person ever to run the entire length of India: from the snow-capped Himalayas to the southern tip of Kanyakumari. That’s 4,000km—50km a day for 80 days straight.
Six years ago, at just 25, Jack was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour. A heavy partier, smoker, and drinker, he was already wrestling with depression when he was told: “You’ll be lucky to live past the age of 40.” Like many who face illness, he couldn’t control the outcome—but he realised he could control how he responded.
Six weeks later, he left for a year-long journey through South America and India. He immersed himself in ancient practices—yoga, meditation, breathwork, nutrition, movement. And it was India that transformed him most deeply. There, he learnt not just how to survive with a terminal illness, but how to thrive.
Since then, Jack has known both suffering and the courage to rise above it. In recent years, he’s taken on extreme endurance challenges, raising over £40,000 for cancer charities. But all of it has been training for this: his boldest challenge yet.
Now he returns to India—the place where his transformation began. His mission is bigger than running. It’s about turning one man’s fight against terminal illness into a movement of resilience, hope, and human potential.
Through this world-first run, Jack aims to inspire others facing adversity to find strength in their struggle, to shift the narrative around terminal illness from defeat to possibility, and to celebrate India—its landscapes, cultures, and spiritual depth—as the backdrop for one of the most ambitious feats of endurance ever attempted.
This journey will be documented with raw, real storytelling. And at its heart is a legacy: to show that pain can be a portal to purpose.
