The Kirkintilloch Band is proud to announce that we have commissioned a brand-new work from an eminent Scottish composer . This special piece will commemorate the life and legacy of Peter Fraser MBE

Peter was a remarkable figure whose dedication, leadership and passion left an enduring mark on our band and the wider brass band community.

Peter devoted so much of his life to supporting and developing the brass band movement. His vision, commitment and belief in the power of music helped shape generations of musicians and strengthened the sense of community that sits at the heart of everything we do. This commissioned work will stand as a lasting musical tribute to his life, celebrating not only his achievements but also the spirit and values he embodied.
