Our Story

The members of Kirkintilloch Band are delighted to have secured a place at the National Brass Band Finals, which will take place at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in October.

As a registered charity, Kirkintilloch Band is entirely self-funded. Every rehearsal, performance, competition, and community engagement activity is made possible through the dedication of our members, volunteers, supporters, and fundraising efforts.

Over the past few years, the band has been on a determined journey to return to the highest level of brass band competition. Through hard work, commitment, and a shared passion for music, we have achieved a significant milestone by qualifying for the National Finals.

Now we need your help to take the next step.

Why We Are Fundraising

Representing our community on one of the most prestigious stages in the brass band world is a tremendous honour. However, attending the National Finals brings significant costs, including:

* Accommodation for players and support team

* Instrument transportation and logistics

As a self-funded charitable organisation, these costs place a considerable burden on our members.
