Story
As part of Stonegate Group, I am supporting the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) who are taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living.
I'm incredibly excited ( and probably slightly terrified) to share that I'll be taking on the Great South Run this year, running to raise money for two charities that mean a huge amount to me personally - CALM ( Campaign Against Living Miserably) And Endometriosis UK.
I've chosen these charities because they both represent causes that are both equally important to me.
The first charity I'm running for is CALM, a suicide Prevention charity, who provide life-saving services and practical mental health support to anyone who may need it.
I have Previously helped raise money for CALM and its something I've wanted to do again ever since. To help support the amazing work they do. Mental Help can affect any one of us, and the support Calm provides can genuinely be a life-saving service. So, this run is about more than just crossing he finish line.
I've got a lot of training to get done before the race, so wish me luck!
Thank you for supporting me and to raise money for some incredible charities.
