Story

As part of our mission and ministry, we run a very busy community programme. Our foodbank serves individuals and families in our community who, for various reasons, require assistance and rely on this vital service. We also provide emergency food parcels, clothing vouchers, and emergency gas and electric card top-ups for those facing fuel poverty.

Currently, once a month, we operate a Community Family Food Hub and Well-being Day where we create a safe space for people to come together and connect. Those who attend receive food from our food store that best suits their needs, along with clothing when available. We aspire to offer hot meals to those utilizing this service, as it is a much-needed support in our community. We help over 80 families each month, most of whom have school-aged children. The feedback from school link workers has been overwhelmingly positive; they report that our efforts are truly making a difference for struggling families.

Therefore, we are reaching out for your support in raising £10,000 to continue this essential work.

In addition to the food hub, our programme includes a twice-monthly Luncheon Club for individuals over 55 years of age, followed by various engaging activities. We also host a weekly Parent & Toddler group and a weekly Coffee Morning.

Your generous contributions will enable us to enhance these services further and ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or feels alone. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
