Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Sheriff of London and I, the Lord Mayor of the City of London are proud to be mounting up and taking part in Ride around the City, on Wednesday 22 May. Starting at Warwick Square, behind the Old Bailey, we will be riding through the City of London on horseback, making various stops along the way, to raise awareness and fundraise for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Sheriffs' & Recorders' Fund.

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal continues with its vision and ambition of creating, through their four strategic pillars, A Better City for All by supporting partner charities and continuing thought leadership initiatives. Their work will benefit City employees, residents and their family and friends, as well as those who live and work in our neighbouring communities.

The Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund is a London-based charity supporting the rehabilitation of prison leavers and their families through individual grants and prison-based rehabilitation projects.

Our target is to raise £10000 but we need your help to achieve this. Any donations, however small, will be received with immense gratitude.
