This year Mel Upton and the Motor Neurone Disease North Wiltshire Group will be taking on the challenge of bringing together voices of MND carers, volunteers and local friends of MND, to raise much needed funds for supporting this life changing disease. The challenge is to put on a concert after 10 rehearsals, working with most people who have never sung before, but who want to make a difference and raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease and the research into finding a cure.

Mel has been volunteering with MND North Wiltshire for about two years now and feels her contribution can be to raise money through singing. Mel Upton is well known for her past years as Founder and Director of Shine Theatre Group. Shine was an inclusive Theatre company who put on many productions over West Sussex and London raising funds for many charities over the years, with performances on GMTV and The Houses of Parliament.
