Story
Introducing the determined duo: Mohsin and Khuram. Though we may be relatively new to running, we have set our sights on the Great North Run to raise funds for the Barnoldswick Learning & Cultural Trust.
We are raising this money as a Sadaqah Jaariya for Asad Siddiq and Imran Ahmed and we extend an invitation to join us as we make meaningful progress towards our fundraising goal, leaving a lasting impact on the Barnoldswick community and beyond.
Barnoldswick is a small town in North-West England with a population of approximately 10,000 people. There has been a small Muslim population present in the town since the 1960’s.
Our Muslim population in the town has expanded organically over the years as families have grown, and we are asking for your help to raise money for a dedicated building to meet the needs of our community, including:
A place to safely run Educational and Quran classes for children and adults
Ability to accommodate more people at peak times such as Jummah and Eid Prayers
A place to hold events such as weddings, funerals, and other outreach events for our local community
We have identified a suitable building that is available to acquire. The building has ample space to accommodate the needs of current and future generations but will need refurbishing before it is ready for use
