Charity Q&A with Peter Sandys-Clarke

Story

For our friend Ben, gone but never forgotten.

This fundraiser is for a cause that is close to our hearts: youth mental health support. Many struggle with their mental health and it is vital to provide those who need it with the necessary support. More than most, we know how important organisations such as The Mix and SHOUT. are in this effort, and we want to help them help many more young people. The Mix and SHOUT are helping those who are struggling and provide information on the topics surrounding mental health to all who need it.

To fundraise we are doing a Q&A with actor and writer Peter Sandys-Clarke, who is probably best known for playing Havers in BBC Ghosts. We will have a question submission form linked below for those who donate to ask a question. Please note that due to time constraints we may be unable to get through all the questions, but we will try our best to get through as many as possible.

Questions need to be submitted before 1st October. If you fill in the form after this date your question won't be counted unfortunately but we will still send you the recording of the Q&A.

About The Mix:

The Mix is the UK’s leading digital charity for under 25s, reaching over 6 million young people each year. Whatever issue a young person is facing, The Mix is always there for them – via our website, text, or social media. Our support is free, confidential and anonymous and can be accessed wherever young people are.

About SHOUT:

Shout is the UK's first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who is struggling to cope. As a digital service, Shout became vital during Covid-19, as one of the few mental health services able to operate as normal at this time. We have seen the need for our support remain high through the UK's cost of living crisis. Shout is powered by the charity Mental Health Innovations, which also powers The Mix, a service providing free, anonymous online advice about the important issues in young people’s lives.
