Team Presidents – Jailbreak fundraiser for Future Projects

Nathan Winterford is raising money for Future Projects

Livewire's Jailbreak 2026 · 20 March 2026 to 22 March 2026 ·

Teams from Livewire 1350, UEA's student radio station, are racing across Europe in 48 hours to get as far from UEA as they can, all to raise money for Future Projects and help local people in urgent need.

Story

Hey! Our names are Kizzie and Nathan and we are Team Presidents! Nathan is Station Manager at Livewire 1350 and Kizzie is President of UEA TV and we can’t wait to raise lots of money for Future Projects and win the Jailbreak challenge. We are both volunteers at Future Radio so we know first-hand just how much your donations will help the charity and Norfolk’s greater community.

We’re taking part in Livewire 1350’s Jailbreak because we wanted to throw ourselves into a challenge that’s exciting, unpredictable, and all for a great cause. With just 48 hours to get as far away from the University of East Anglia campus as possible within Europe, we’ll be relying on teamwork, creativity, and determination to see how far we can make it.

We’re also doing it to raise money for Future Projects, a vital local charity supporting people across Norfolk who are facing hardship. From providing food and practical help to supporting people through difficult times, Future Projects makes a real difference to those who need it most.

Every donation will help support local people in urgent need, while spurring us on as we take on the challenge. Thank you for supporting our team and helping us make this adventure count.
