The Regis School's fundraiser for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust

WALK4CHANGE (The Regis School walking for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust) · 16 May 2025
Our Story
Year 9, RRS Ambassadors and student leaders will be walking ‘pier to pier’, from Worthing to Bognor Pier in May, raising money and awareness for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust gives to children and their families, who have a life threatening, or terminal illness. The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is the local children’s charity, which provides vital nursing care at home for children who have a life-threatening illness such as, cancer, brain tumours, lung and heart conditions. The paediatric community nurses help parents care for their sick child. They advise them on how to administer medications, manage gastric tubes, change dressings etc and give support when needed, following diagnosis. Emotional support is available for all members of the family with ‘Snowdrop’ Counsellors. Financial help is given to families who find it difficult to cope with the extra costs associated with caring for a sick child.
The students have been working on their own fitness and resilience, so they can successfully complete the 25km walk as a team. With your donations, we can support children locally and in our own school community.
Thank you so much.
