The Revenue Club's fundraiser for Bowel Cancer UK

Rob Corcoran is raising money for Bowel Cancer UK

Golfing Challenge · 19 June 2025

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

We're taking to the fairways to play four rounds in a day in June. Our team of 15 will be teeing off at 6am to embark on a challenge in which each player will cover about 20 miles and take around 300 golf shots along the way (about 4,500 in total!).

The plan is to raise as much as we can for the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

The reason we've chosen the charity is to support our director, Chris Knight, who has undergone treatment for the condition in the last 18 months which was expertly carried out by the team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. The effects of the disease are ongoing but we want to do something positive to help others avoid it in the future and ensure that treatment continues to evolve.

Your support is gratefully received and will help stop people dying of bowel cancer.
