Story

The Big Office Furniture Giveaway

Following the closure of our Enbrook Hub in March, the Facilities team have spent the past few months sorting through furniture which will no longer be needed. We are delighted to share that a large proportion of the furnishings will be rehomed and distributed into our new Hubs, however there are a number of items which will be available for colleagues, should they be interested.

Much like our last giveaway, we have a number of schools and local charities interested, however before we offer the items to them, we want to give our colleagues the first opportunity to come and collect any items which they may need for themselves, or their family.

The items will be available for collection only from Enbrook, via the rear entrance of the main building on Saturday 3rd June. The doors will be open between the hours of 9am and 4pm, and volunteers will be onsite to advise what may be taken, and control flow.

Items are free but we do have limited quantities of some items so please be considerate of others. We will be asking (though not obliged), for a small donation to our chosen charity, the Million Miles Project.

The Million Miles project is supporting charities in the Folkestone, Hythe and surrounding areas including; mental health in young people, homelessness, and sport for disabled people. Please consider making a donation for the items you collect, which will in turn support some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
