Story
Thank you so much to supporting us to raise monies for the Tiffin Girls' School.
We are de-LIGHT-ed to be raising money for our Bright Futures project to transform the Holdsworth Building at the school with energy-efficient LED lighting. This upgrade will replace 366 outdated fittings, reducing TTGS' carbon footprint, lowering energy costs and enhancing the learning environment for all our students with brighter, natural illumination that supports focus, accessibility and wellbeing. Aligned with the school's Sustainability Plan, this initiative will be an important step in achieving the school's long-term vision of being a leader in environmental sustainability, in creating a greener future, and education excellence. The total cost of the project is £30,000.
The PSA have already donated upwards of £3000 for this project and hope to add to this through the rest of this school year.
We are entering a boat of 16 paddlers into the Kingston Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday 20th July - the paddlers will be a mixture of current parents of pupils, students and alumni as well.
In the past this event has successfully supported projects like school hall's AV system and refurbishment of the changing rooms.
The PSA have paid half of the entrance fees with the remaining half being borne by our wonderful paddlers - meaning that all the money you donate will go straight towards Bright Futures project.
Thank you!
