This year we're raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), who are a suicide prevention charity and we've set ourselves a fundraising goal of £1000 in a year. Our fundraising walk around Prestatyn Hillside will hopefully put some fundraising money in the pot towards our £1000 goal!

So far this year some of the team completed a 5 mile circular walk of Prestatyn Hillside on Thursday 21st May as part of the Stonegate Stomp and our crazy Deputy Manager, Danny, jumped out of a plane!

CALM are a brilliant charity who are passionate about suicide prevention! They've got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.

The UK statistics on suicide and mental health issues are scary. One in four of us will have suicidal thoughts in our life and every day in the UK we lose 18 people to suicide. CALM are a suicide prevention charity that exists to change this.

Their vision is educate people so that no one feels like suicide is their only option. But right now, too many people are struggling to see a way forward. That’s why they’re here - to help anyone struggling with life.

Every £12.20 raised is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call!
