Story
Fun-loving adventurer and member of The Women's Chapter, Shiona Ramage was 45 years old when she was first diagnosed with melanoma in June 2016. Since then she has been receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden for advanced melanoma.
Shiona will be hosting this walk around Richmond Park, with all proceeds going to The royal Marsden.
Following her diagnosis, Shiona was inspired to make a difference to the lives of other people affected by cancer. She got to work recruiting her closest friends and family to fundraise for Melanoma research. Over four years, through taking on challenges such as a danceathon, skipathon, swimming Loch Lomond, running The Royal Parks Half Marathon, hiking the Welsh 3000's and many more, they have raised an incredible £75,000! But they have no intention of stopping there, with several more events in the pipeline and the latest fundraising target set to £100,000.
