The UK Office for National Statistics reveals that suicide rates in England and Wales have reached their highest level in 25 years.

Every year, thousands of individuals tragically end their lives by suicide. It is our firm belief that with real action, suicide is preventable.

This September, we unite to raise awareness and urge everyone to engage in open and honest conversations about suicide and suicidal behaviour. The construction industry has seen a concerning rise in the number of suicides, making it imperative for us to take action to reduce the stigma and promote mental health support.

During this Suicide Prevention Month, we are dedicated to fundraising for The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity - the only charity entirely devoted to the emotional, physical, and financial well-being of our construction workforce and their families. They receive no public funding and rely on the industry to 'support their own'. Every penny raised will make a meaningful difference to a construction worker in need.
