I'm proud to be joining #TeamARUK in the 2027 Manchester Marathon!

Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person living with it. It touches entire families, friendships, and communities. Too many people face the heartbreak of watching someone they love struggle with memory loss and the challenges that come with this condition.

I have seen people close to me who have been afflicted with the horrible experience of Alzheimers and Dementia so I will do my part for them!

It is a disease which takes a person's whole life and I couldn't imagine anything worse than to look at the people closest to me not recognise who I am anymore.

I wouldn't wish that fate on my worse enemy, and I am willing to push my mind and body in an effort to help raise funds and awareness for this to help those who are dealing with this and hopefully with efforts like mine and others we can find a cure and support families going through this disease.

This is my first marathon so I will be pushing myself harder than I have ever wanted to before, so I have no expectation of having an amazing time in the slightest. But the most important part is that I’m doing it for my closest friends, families suffering and for myself to show my support for them!
