Michelle & Bridget’s fundraiser for UK Sepsis Trust

3 Peak Challenge (Snowden, Scafell Pike & Ben Nevis - within 24 hours) · 6 September 2025
My sister and I are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for SESPIS TRUST UK in memory of our dad, who passed away suddenly from sepsis in March 2020.
Sepsis is a serious, life-threatening condition that can develop quickly, and recognizing the symptoms early is absolutely vital—timely treatment can be the difference between life and death.
We’re fundraising to help raise awareness, support research, and ensure that others don’t have to face the same heartbreak we did.
The challenge is no easy feat – it is one of the toughest endurance challenges in the UK – it involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1,345m), England (Scafell Pike - 978m), and Wales (Snowdon - 1,085m) within just 24 hours.
We will be battling exhaustion, steep climbs, unpredictable weather, and barely any sleep while covering over 23 miles on foot and traveling 462 miles between peaks. But every step, every struggle, and every aching muscle will be worth it, because we are doing this to raise vital funds for Sepsis UK.
By donating, you’re helping us spread the word about this condition and giving others the chance to catch it early.
Every single pound you donate will make a real difference—whether it helps a family get vital support, funds research for better treatments, or spreads awareness that could save someone’s life.
If you can, please donate whatever you can—no amount is too small. Together, we can fight sepsis and help save lives.
Thank you so much for your support! 💙
