In June 2022, our grandson Eddie, then aged 3, was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer called clear cell sarcoma. This was heartbreaking news for his parents and for all of us as a family. Eddie had surgery in August to remove a kidney and then began nine months of intense chemotherapy.
Thankfully, he has now completed his treatment and is doing incredibly well.
This year, as we celebrate the joy and warmth of the festive season, we have once again decided to set up a JustGiving page for our Christmas lights to support the wonderful charity Milly’s Smiles, who bring comfort and hope to families facing childhood cancer.
