The Forge Project Big Sleep Out 2026
On Saturday 10 October, World Homeless Day, staff, supporters and members of our local community will be swapping their beds for sleeping bags and spending the night outdoors at Brigg Town Football Club.
From 9pm until 7am the following morning, we’ll be sleeping outside to raise awareness of homelessness and, importantly, raise money to help The Forge Project continue supporting people in our local community who are homeless or experiencing difficult circumstances.
The Big Sleep Out isn’t intended to replicate the reality of homelessness. Spending one night outside in a safe environment could never show what it is really like to live without a secure place to call home.
What it can do is bring people together, start conversations and raise money for a service that supports people facing that reality.
Our target is £1,000.
Every donation made through this page will go towards The Forge Project and the work we do supporting people in Scunthorpe and the surrounding area.
If you’re taking part, thank you for giving up your bed for the night and getting behind us.
If you can’t join us, you can still be part of the Big Sleep Out by making a donation. Whether it’s £5, £10, £20 or whatever you can afford, it all contributes towards our £1,000 target.
Thank you for supporting The Forge Project.
