Story
Hi everyone!.
Myself, Kim, Janice, and Wendy are taking on a big challenge this winter—each of us will swim a total of 34.5km by the end of March to raise funds for The GaitWay Organisation
The GaitWay Organisation provides vital Multidisciplinary Physical Therapy programs to children across Ireland who have physical disabilities due to neurological impairments, primarily Cerebral Palsy. These programs take place three times a year during school holidays and are led by a team of qualified Conductive Educators (using the Peto Method) and Physiotherapists, supported by dedicated assistants. This ensures a 1:1 ratio of staff to participants, offering the highest level of individual care and attention, which is crucial for the effectiveness of the therapy.
However, running these programs is expensive, and as a small charity, they receive no government funding. Without the generosity of donors like yourselves, many families simply couldn’t afford to give their children the chance to participate. Your support makes a huge difference, allowing GaitWay to continue helping more children each year.
Thank you so much for your support.
