Two years ago, in a pub in Bristol, the Mongol Rally emerged as a topic of conversation. One year later, on a whim, we had booked our place. One year after that, we realised what we had naively signed ourselves up for. 11,000 miles, in a cramped 2008 VW Fox, with little-to-no mechanical experience, we were set to voyage from London to Oskemen, Kazakhstan. As part of our noble quest, we are raising money for Cool Earth – a charity that works to protect rainforests across the world. We would greatly appreciate any donations, it all goes towards a great cause.
