Story
We are proud to be raising money for the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) – the only UK charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC).
TSC is a genetic condition that can cause growths to develop in various organs, most commonly affecting the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, skin and lungs. When these growths cause difficulties, it is often due to their size and location in the body, making ongoing support and research absolutely vital.
This charity is especially close to our hearts. One of our students taking part in this year’s challenge lives with TSC every day and is incredibly passionate about raising awareness and giving back to the TSA. Their determination continues to inspire us all.
As an ABSA team, our students face daily challenges with attending and engaging in school. Despite this, they show resilience, courage and commitment by supporting one another. Each week, we come together to walk or run in our local area, building confidence and encouraging positive wellbeing through teamwork.
We are so excited to take on this event together and would truly appreciate any support you can give. Every donation, no matter how small, will help the TSA continue their life-changing work.
Please support our students by cheering them on and donating if you can — it really does make a difference.
Thank you 💙
