Story

In 2021 a very special little girl in all of our hearts, Rosa, was diagnosed at 3 years old with neuroblastoma which is a rare form of cancer effecting mostly babies and children. She won her battle in 2021 and she thrived, however late January this year Rosa now 5 relapsed and is courageously fighting this awful disease for the second time. With numerous rounds of chemotherapy, a range of life threatening surgeries and many more shes still has a little smile on her face. Rosa is doing us all immensely proud with how brave and strong she has been and continues to be. She’s inspired all of us in so many ways that we thought it was only right to try and give her something back to show her just how special she really is and how much we all love her. So we are raising as much money as we can for our little fairy, Rosa & The Great North Children’s Hospital who have cared for Rosa and her family throughout what can only be described as a bloody awful time.

On the 8th of July a group of us girlies are getting kitted out in our walking shoes, our fairy attire and our ginger wigs to represent the princess herself. We will be taking the 14 mile walk from Noses Point in Seaham through to North Marine Park in South Shields.

Please dig deep in aid of us looking like a bunch of nutters to raise some money for our girl and to give something back to this amazing hospital and all of the incredible work they do saving lives & giving hope to families.

Thanks so much for taking your the time to read,

Lots of love

The Hair Fairy Crew ✌🏼🧡🧚🏼‍♀️

. . . Backstory on the hair fairy crew, Rosa was upset when she was loosing her hair due to chemotherapy and her mam told her a story of a hair fairy who comes and collects the hair from under her pillow to make fairy dust and wigs for other poorly children. Letters would be left under Rosa’s pillow off “ginger” the hair fairy thanking her for her hair. Once all the hair was collected, us as a group got Rosa some gifts and did a doorstep delivery along with a lot of glitter on the front step .. it was magical to think such a negative time was made into a happy memory, and that was the start of the hair fairy crew 🧡🧚🏼‍♀️
