The Holy Walkamolies are at it again!! (Phil, Erica & Kirsty)

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page to support The Snowdrop Project. We are excited to be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, on July 27, 2024.

The challenge is a 38.6km round trip route set in the beautiful Yorkshire dales. We will climb pen-y-Ghent, whernside & ingleborough with a total ascent of 1,585m. A challenge for all three of us but for a very worthy cause.

Our goal is to raise £500 for this incredible charity.

The Snowdrop project is a Sheffield based charity which supports and empowers survivors of modern slavery and exploitation in South Yorkshire. Helping people to recover from their pasts and rebuild their futures.

Snowdrop provides holistic, long term, community based support to survivors so that they can reach a place of independence.

They provide survivors with counselling, community activities, house renovations, and one to one case worker support.

In addition to supporting survivors they work hard to support policy work. Using their experience and expertise to inform policy campaigns and best practice recommendations. Working to change and influence policy that aims to protect the most vulnerable in society and ensure equal access to support for all survivors.

Every contribution brings them closer to their target and makes a real difference in the lives of those they aim to support. Your generosity will help provide vital resources and support for survivors of modern slavery. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and bring hope to those who need it most.

How does your funds made a difference to survivors?

£30 could fund one hour of counselling, helping a survivor begin to heal from their experiences.

£50 could pay for one session of their weekly toddlers group, helping survivors find community and friendship.

£72 could fund one hour face to face interpreting for a survivor, helping them to navigate their next steps.

£500 could help make a house into a home and cover the costs of renovations for a trafficking survivor.
