Story
THE HOPE PROJECT- Inspired By Dylan September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and this one is incredibly personal to me 💚
In February, the worst thing imaginable happened. My son Dylan was at a very low point, and genuinely Samaritans helped save his life.
As a mum, there really are no words to describe what it feels like to realise your child is hurting that much.
During one of the darkest moments of our lives, Samaritans were there.
Someone listened.
Someone answered.
Someone gave hope when we desperately needed it.
So this September, I want to give something back.
I'm launching THE HOPE PROJECT - Inspired by Dylan, with his full backing, Dylan believes it shouldn't be a taboo for boys and men to speak openly about their mental health. So proud of him, such an inspiration.
A month of fundraising through my salon and our amazing community, with the aim of raising £2,000 for Samaritans.
Because sometimes we don't need someone to fix things. We just need someone to listen.
We already have an incredible collection of prizes donated by local businesses, with lots more fundraising planned throughout September. Including a huge raffle with 19 prizes!!

And if you're struggling yourself, please remember that you don't have to carry it alone. Samaritans are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
