Story
Jack worked for McDonalds as an Assistant Manager. At 27 years old he had his whole life ahead of him; with a young daughter, Lyla and partner Charlotte and their own home.
After taking part in a game of football, he was found unresponsive in his car shortly after the match had ended. His friends were able to provide CPR until the ambulance arrived, he was alive on arrival at hospital but on life support. His family were there when the decision was made to turn it off.
Jack had a big heart, a quiet sensitive soul, loved his family and had a smile that brightened the day. He was an avid football fan and season ticket holder at his beloved Man City with his Dad, Peter, and brother, Tom. He is missed every day by his mum, Lianne, and his family and friends.
Our aim is to raise £10,000 to name a room at Ronald McDonald House, Manchester in his memory!
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital.
Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.
We help over 6,000 families each year and now, more than ever, we need your support. Thank you.
