Avon Needs Trees is a fantastic charity trying to reverse the notable deforestation in the Bristol area that has occurred over the last few centuries.

They fundraise to buy land and plant trees to create woodlands that will stand for generations, locking up carbon, boosting local biodiversity, and providing natural flood management as well as publicly accessible green space.

All money donated through this page will be used to plant trees in The Great Avon wood, a 100 acre piece of land just outside Bristol and less than 15 minutes from our new house.

Just £25 covers the cost of planting and caring for one tree so we'd love you to donate in £25 increments if possible.
