On 8 May 2027, a husband-and-wife team, one currently serving and the other a veteran, will be taking on THE LAP – Windermere Ultra Clockwise, a demanding 47-mile ultra challenge around England's largest lake.

THE LAP is one of the Lake District's most iconic endurance events, following stunning trails, forest tracks, fell paths and quiet country roads. Participants have 24 hours to complete the route, making it a true test of determination, resilience and endurance.

While they aren't taking on this event specifically as a fundraiser, they have kindly given SRRA permission to use their incredible challenge as an opportunity to raise vital funds to support serving and former serving Operators of the SRR from badging to burial.
