Hi everyone,

We’re the Long Haulers, a family team of 10 (we’ve 2 new team members!) planning to take on the Mighty Hike along the beautiful Northumberland coastline to raise money for people living with cancer.

We will be walking a marathon distance along the Northumberland coast in September 2024 and have pledged to raise a minimum £250 each, £2500 between us.

£250 worth of donations could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer. Unfortunately almost everyone has been, or knows someone close to them, affected by a cancer diagnosis in some way. Having seen first hand the support that Macmillan provide it really is a cause close to our hearts and your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal is massively appreciated!
