Having a Defibrillator is something that is very important to me and close to my heart. I strongly believe that every public area should have one due to the benefits that they bring and the fact they can save a life!

A defibrillator can increase survival rates of cardiac arrest by 74%! Without one the survival rates are as poor as 6%

Due to having a public house we have a lot of people coming in and out of our business and we would like to be prepared for any situation and ensure we have all we need to help someone in need.

The defibrillator will be placed outside of The Merry Fiddler's in a heated safety cabinet close the junction that is notorious for accidents. Here anyone in an unfortunate accident may benefit from it as well as any of our neighbours or community.

Some of money raised will also include our team and the neighbours being trained correctly to ensure they are able to use the equipment and save lives! Further information in regards to training will be made available once we have achieved our target.
