Portsmouth DSA is an award-winning charity, committed to improving the lives of people with Down syndrome by providing some of the UK’s best specialist services, training and support to individuals, families and professionals, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed. We work hard to raise awareness, champion inclusion, & celebrate diversity because when people with DS are given opportunities to participate & be fully included, the whole community benefits. Portsmouth DSA is proud to have royal approval in recognition of our work.

Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association is a charity close to our hearts at The Mulberry Bush. They have offered endless support for our children within the setting with Down Syndrome, giving them the tools to thrive and help us to become inclusive within the setting in giving them the best outcomes. Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association also provide our staff with great training opportunities in partnership with 'lets go'. Our staff have expressed how much they value these training opportunities and how they have enabled us to provide accurate support for our children with Down Syndrome.

We will be raising awareness within the settings throughout the week. These activities include- rock your socks, design your own socks competitions, bake sales and walks within the local community. We cant wait to share what we have been up too!
