Winter has been an extremely difficult time, with hay prices rising and also with the increase of horses coming into our care, as their owners can no longer afford to house and feed them.

We might be looking at closure as things are so tough right now, this would be incredibly sad, as so many horses come through us.

We have had the support of bigger charities, such as Blue Cross Bransby and British Horse Society, who have taken in some of our youngsters to give us breathing space.

A small charity like us is finding it extremely difficult to survive and we are left with the uncertainty in our future now.

It’s not only the horses who benefit from our charity’s work, the therapeutic impact on our volunteers’ wellbeing is significant, and losing this would be a great loss to our community.

In order to keep our doors open and continue helping these beautiful animals who desperately need our care, we are looking to the community to help raise £5000, which should be enough to pay for much needed hay supplies, which would see us through the upcoming winter period.
